DESCRIPTION: Dirhtml a freeware index.html generator. Dirhtml
generates customizable html files from a folder branch.  Using
scripts, dirhtml can create unique and arbitrarily complex files.
The underlying concept of dirhtml is that it creates table-based

by using scripts.
Possible uses of dirhtml:
- Generate index.html pages for web servers
- Locate particular files on disks (including mapped network disks),

Since dirhtml outputs html files, any build results in a static record

built-in viewer. Lister is a standalone viewer for text (ASCII, ANSI,
Unicode, UTF-8, RTF), html files (formatted text and links), bitmaps
and certain multimedia files. Any file can be browsed with a fixed
length binary and a hex view. Lister can display pictures and other
multimedia files using Irfanview or XNView as a filter. Lister Plugins
written for Total Commander are supported, too. These plugins are
available for a broad variety of file formats (executables, databases,
CAD, GIS, office documents, archive files, fonts, Palm files,
torrents, playlists,...), making Lister an excellent multi-format
viewer. Some plugins also add edit facilities. Documents can be

REMARKS: BeAr (2006): Lister is very fast and handles files of nearly

DESCRIPTION: FileNote is a little shell extension that allows you to add
textual
descriptions to your files. It adds one command to the shell context
menu of a file object. This command lets you easily edit or create a
text file that has the same name as the initial file, but with the
extension TXT. For example, if you have a file, MyImage.jpg, you
right-click on that file and choose the FileNote command from the
context menu. A new text file called MyImage.txt is created and
Notepad is opened to edit that text file. If a text file with that
name already exists, it will be opened for viewing/editing.

Notice: Filenote comes as part of the authors ShellTools install.
Shell Tools is a collection of free Windows shell extensions and
utilities. The package contains updated versions of the authors old
shell extensions FontLoader, FileNote, RegisterEx, CopyURL and new
ones, including a control panel that allows you to control all the
extensions in one place. You can disable (most of) the other
extensions if for example you only want to use FileNote.
