Description: Frhed (free hex editor) is a small, fast and powerful binary file editor. Features include search and replace for any combination of binary and text data, file comparison, bit manipulation, customizable display colors and font size, ANSI or OEM character set, cut and paste, bookmarking and more. With Frhed you can also apply binary templates for structured information, load files partially (for working on huge programs), and export as hexdump to file or clipboard. Frhed currently does not support Undo. NOTES: Other version downloads are obsolete except for very special purposes

Description: AutoHotkey has four primary features: 1) automating repetitive tasks by sending keystrokes and mouse clicks (you can write such macros by hand or use the macro recorder); 2) creating hotkeys for keyboard, mouse, joystick, and handheld remote controls (virtually any key, button, or combination can become a hotkey); 3) expanding abbreviations as you type them (for example, typing "btw" can automatically produce "by the way"); and 4) creating custom data entry forms, user interfaces, and menu bars. AutoHotkey's secondary features include changing soundcard settings (like volume or mute); using a joystick or keyboard as a mouse; remapping keys; launching programs/documents; making any window transparent, always-on-top, or altering its shape; manipulating the clipboard; customizing the tray menu's icon and menu items; displaying dialog boxes to interact with the user; running existing AutoIt v2 scripts; and converting any script into an EXE file that can be run on any computer. NOTES: abbreviation expansion and mouse button hotkeys require NT/2000/XP.

Description: Inno Setup is an installer for Windows programs. Features include support for all 32-bit Windows versions in use today -- Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Me, NT 4.0. Support for Windows NT 3.51 can also be optionally included. (An older 16-bit version of Inno Setup is still available.) Supports creation of a single EXE to install your program for easy online distribution. Disk spanning is also supported. Standard wizard interface, including support for the latest Windows 2000/XP wizard style. Customizable setup types, e.g. Full, Minimal, Custom. Complete uninstall capabilities. Installation of files: Includes integrated "deflate" file compression (the same compression .zip files use) and also supports bzip2 compression. The installer has the ability to compare file version info, replace in-use files, use shared file counting, register DLL/OCX's and type libraries, and install fonts. Creation of shortcuts anywhere, including in the Start Menu and on the desktop. Creation of registry and .INI entries. Silent install and uninstall. Full source code is available (Borland Delphi 2.0-5.0).

Description: Resource Hacker(TM) is a utility to view, modify, rename, add, delete and extract resources in 32bit Windows executables and resource files (*.res). It incorporates an internal resource script compiler and decompiler. Cursor, Icon, Bitmap, GIF, AVI, and JPG resource images can be viewed. WAV and MIDI audio resources can be played. Menus, Dialogs, MessageTables, StringTables, Accelerators, Delphi Forms, and VersionInfo resources can be viewed as decompiled resource scripts. Menus and Dialogs can also be viewed as they would appear in a running application. Resources can be saved as image files, as script files, as binary resource files, or as untyped binary files. Resources can be modified by replacing the resource with a resource located in another file or by using the internal resource script compiler. Dialog controls can also be visually moved and/or resized by clicking and dragging the respective dialog controls prior to recompiling with the internal compiler. Resources can be added to an application by copying them from external resource files.
