Program Information

The CD includes copies of the Pricelessware web pages. Most program descriptions
have links to the author's home page or a program description page. Visit those links
for additional information about the programs. Programs that are not included on this
CD can be downloaded directly. Note: Links sometimes change. If you find a
non-working link check the on-line Pricelessware pages for updates.

Note: Use the "Pricelessware Home" link to go to the on-line Pricelessware web site.
Use the "Home" link to return to the Index page on the Pricelessware CD.

Program Files

The program files are in the "files" folder. Each program has its own subfolder (subfolder
name = program name).

Cover Image

2006PL-CDcover.jpg is a graphic image that can be printed to make a cover for the CD.

Verifying the CD

Follow the procedures below to verify your copy of the Pricelessware CD.

Go to this web page: http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/2006/2006PL-CD-about.php
Note the "Used space" for the CD that's shown on the web site.
Compare that to the "Used space" on your copy of the CD (right click on the drive icon
and choose properties). The numbers should be identical.

A small Pricelessware program named  DVDSig is included in the root directory of the CD.
dvdsig.exe creates digital fingerprints of files. The fingerprint file is named dvdsig.md5.

Create a temporary directory on your hard drive.
Create a subdirectory. (the directory names do not matter)
Copy dvdsig.exe from the CD to the directory.
Copy dvdsig.md5 from the CD to the subdirectory.
Doubleclick on dvdsig.exe, click scan.
This will create a dvdsig.md5 file in the directory.

Right-click on the link and save the file to your hard drive.

In the subdirectory you created replace the dvdsig.md5 file from the CD with the
dvdsig.md5 file you downloaded from the Pricelessware site.

Doubleclick on dvdsig.exe, click verify.
This is the message you should see when the verification is complete:
Total: 2 OK: 2 Bad: 0 Missing: 0
The operation completed successfully: 2 files, OMB, ***s
*** = the number of seconds it took to run the check

If the "Used space" matches and the above message is displayed you have a true and
complete copy of the original Pricelessware CD.

Redistribution of the CD:

Pricelessware programs are included if the author freely allows redistribution and/or gave
permission to the alt.comp.freeware newsgroup to include the program on this CD.

You may make copies of this CD and distribute them to others. Recipients may be asked
to furnish a blank CD. They may not be asked to pay a fee of any kind.
