Description: Metapad is a small, fast, 32-bit Notepad replacement. It includes all of Notepad's features and much, much more - without sacrificing any of Notepad's speed! Plenty of features for casual use and simple programming tasks alike. These include unlimited file size, drag and drop editing, auto-indent, support for Mac/Unix text files, enhanced find and replace, external viewers and more than 50 keyboard shortcuts. Metapad also features hyperlink support, favorites menu, stay on top window mode, custom font and background colors, a rich set of formatting commands and more. Additionally, you can set 10 quick buffers to paste frequently-used snippets of text. Recent additions include transparent mode and native Windows XP theme support. Description: EditPad Lite is a light text editor and Notepad replacement. It has all the features a solid text editor needs without any bloat. You can open as many files at a time as you want, with no arbitrary file size limit. Each file will have its own tab. You can convert between ANSI, ASCII, and Unicode, and work with Unix and Mac files. You can search and replace across all open files. It has unlimited undo and redo and powerful print preview. Additional features include hyperlink support, auto-indent, line numbering, word wrap, column block selection (supported by ALT key), external browser support, customizable font and color, ROT- 13 encoding and more. You can have EditPad store its settings in an .ini file instead of the registry. This allows portability (you can carry around EditPad on a disk) and it keeps the registry clean. EditPad fully supports double byte character systems (DBCS) so you can edit texts written in Far East languages, such as Chinese, Japanese or Korean, as easily as those written in European languages.

Description: ExamDiff is a tool for visual file comparison of two text or html files. After selecting the two files to compare, ExamDiff will display them in a split screen and highlight all the differences The program offers a variety of handy features, like copying of text from the comparison panes via drag and drop and one push re-compare function which attempts to leave the viewer's focus in the same place as before the re-compare. ExamDiff can also remember a user specified number of last compared first and second files and saves the file differences in a standard UNIX DIFF file. The interface is clean,compact and there are several options to customize the comparison process, for example by ignoring white spaces and more.
